These are our Forum Guidelines and Rules.

If you break one of these rules you may be warned many times, if you continue to break these rules then you may be moderated, which means your posts have to be approved by a staff member before they appear. If you still continue to break these rules then you will be muted or banned, it depends on the severity of your actions.

Board specific rules:
We have many board specific rules that apply to that board in itself, the rest of the rules still apply across the forums.

Respect:
We do not mind if you give constructive criticism or try to help other members, but we will not accept members flaming, insulting, swearing, being rude, etc. towards other members on the forums. There may also be younger members on these forums, their parents may not respect the fact that you are using these words towards their children.

Encouraging other to break rules:
The staff members do not respect any members encouraging another member to break a rule. This is a serious offence and you will be punished accordingly for this offence.

Releasing private information:
Private information of other members must NOT be released without their permission. This includes real name, age, pictures, address, phone number, email, private messages, etc. The risk of paedophiles in the RSPS community is probably pretty high compared to other communities, so if you do give it away, be careful! NEVER arrange to meet somebody you meet online, no matter how trustworthy or honest they seem.

Posting in different languages
As the moderation is all done in English, posting in different languages is generally not permitted unless an accurate translation to English is also given. This is so we know people are not talking about subjects which are against the rules.

Spamming:
Thread titles must be relevant to the thread. Spamming, such as short answers or posting gibberish, is not permitted. Double posting is not allowed - instead, edit your post! Remember to keep your replies on-topic.

Inappropriate content:
As we are a forum for people of all ages, content must be restricted. Therefore, we do not allow the posting of pornographic or indecent images or videos (this includes inside your avatars and signatures). Links to pornographic or indecent sites are not permitted. If in doubt as to whether something is suitable, check with a moderator or administrator first!
Keep discussion family-friendly: we are a forum for people of all ages! Swearing or using offensive/rude language is not permitted.
Illegal content - such as illegal downloads, ****, torrents, etc. are also not permitted.

Advertising other websites:
Advertising other RuneScape private server websites are not allowed. No links may be posted. However, most other links are allowed so long as the advertising doesn't become spam. There are some exceptions, e.g. indecent sites (see rules above for details about these).

Misleading links:
Misleading links are not permitted. Links should go where they say - faking a link to a rick roll (or similar) site is not permitted and against the rules.

Impersonation:
Impersonation of somebody you are not is not permitted. This includes normal members, as well as  forum moderators and administrators. If you are caught impersonating somebody, the punishment may be severe.
