Computer problem
« on: January 11, 2012, 01:29:18 pm »
Well, wasn't really sure what to post this in, so whatever.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want my computer to save my passwords for forums and YouTube (which they used to save), but something happened so now I have to enter my password every time I go onto a website that requires a username and password to be entered.

I would like to know how to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried using firefox? Everytime I post a password into a new website it gives me the option to 'Remember this password automatically' for future references.

I would try firefox, it's a decent browser and the only one i've ever used on my computers.

No I have not.

But; Chrome asks me if I want to "Remember this password automatically" for most websites (not this one). Still though, even if I choose yes on the sites it does ask me if I want to remember my password on (e.g. Facebook, Youtube, ES forums....) it still logs me out if I close the page and re-open it a few minutes later.

I think my problem can be solved as easily as changing some setting in Chrome, not sure though.
